nos femmes

Fotografia di  J. Reed

Di ritorno  – come giurista – da una premiazione
di un concorso di poesia nel bolognese,
ho voluto non mancare un appuntamento
con la mia storia.

Elisabetta Orosei
ha tradotto in lingua inglese
le nostre donne
che ripropongo qui di seguito

***

Our women

Our women it’s us
and everything that embraces us
scents of hand-washed linen
in the secrets’ writing desk

Our women are sunflowers
blooming in every day’s struggle
and scent of freshly-laundred washing
always pegged out,
after the sun goes down

Our women, we are silent sodality
subscribed with life –
perseverance, tenderness, mistakes.
Among our women I’m the wandering one

Our women
we speak different languages
sitting at the same table

But in God’s uninterrupted groin –
bathed in the same Jordan water –
each washed inside with a different colour,

together,
our women, we shape
flying colours.

Grazie Elisabetta.
Là dove ora è già tutto imbiancato
e dove la mia storia mi riconduce,
potranno tradurre in cirillico
quello che in ogni lingua possibile
i cuori già sanno.

Confondendomi ancora con wordpress
e ancora legata sentimentalmente a Splinder.
